I don’t trust social media when I’m using it or I’m afraid of being scammed. I often get scam phone calls asking for my personal information and saying that the Chinese Embassy is looking for me. But the truth is that Chinese embassies don’t usually reach out to students, and banks don’t call you. But I would trust my PLN because it’s a personal learning network that you initiate and you have access to all the knowledge that already exists online. Of course this knowledge contains the personal thoughts of some scholars that might guide you.
I think only after learning a certain amount of knowledge will you build up a trivial view enough to support your own thinking. Not all internet knowledge is trustworthy. Everyone has his or her own political views.
I hope that the people of Ukraine will be safe and that Russia will be able to handle the relationship between the two countries better. There is nothing more important than world peace.
